Luke Wilkshire

In Brisbane in June 2012, Australia were a man down after Mark Milligan's second yellow and Japan had just scored, so Wilkshire drilled the 70th-minute penalty down the middle to save a 1-1 draw. Eighty caps carried him to the 2011 Asian Cup final and through two World Cups, in 2006 and 2010; he also won the 2004 OFC Nations Cup, spent six seasons at Dynamo Moscow, and took an A-League premiership and FFA Cup at Sydney FC. Career record: 80 caps and 8 goals for Australia; club career at Bristol City, FC Twente, FC Dinamo Moscow.
