Nineteen seasons produced 123 yellow cards and 12 reds, and the last of them ended with an eight-match ban in January 2011 for a tackle on Melbourne Heart's Adrian Zahra in the derby. He captained Melbourne Victory to A-League championships in 2007 and 2009 after winning the domestic treble with Rangers in 2002-03, took the 2000 OFC Nations Cup and a Confederations Cup final in 1997, and scored 10 goals in 46 Australia caps.
