Against Croatia on 22 June 2006, Moore scored from the penalty spot before half time, the first time an Australian had scored in the first half of a World Cup, and the 2-2 draw took the Socceroos into the last 16. Rangers gave him six league titles, four Scottish Cups and three League Cups, the treble among them in 2003, and he captained Australia at the Athens Olympics, took bronze at the 2001 Confederations Cup and won 52 caps.
