Granada had never won at Camp Nou until the night of 29 April 2021, when Machís struck the equaliser against Barcelona and Roberto Soldado turned it into a 2-1 win. He won the Taça de Portugal with Vitória Guimarães in 2013, the Copa Venezuela with Mineros de Guayana in 2011 and the Kirin Cup with Venezuela in 2019, and has scored 11 goals in 52 internationals.
