On 7 October 2001 at Foxboro, with a World Cup place on the line, Moore scored both goals against Jamaica to send the United States to Korea and Japan. He finished with 100 caps and 24 goals, played at three World Cups, spent three seasons at Everton in the Premier League, and joined the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2013.
