Known for the only Ukrainian to have won a major international tournament. He was Dynamo Kyiv's man in the Euro 1960 final and the first Kyiv player picked in a World Cup best XI. Nothing in this 33 outranks that. Biggest achievements: European Champion 1960; selected in the best XI of the 1958 World Cup; Soviet title 1961 with Dynamo Kyiv.
