Four minutes into South Africa's 2002 World Cup opener, Quinton Fortune's free kick dipped and went in off his thigh, not the head he had jumped for, and it beat Slovenia on 8 June. Two World Cups, the 2005 Allsvenskan with Djurgården and the 2008 Danish title with AaB stand on his record, and at 34 he took the PSL Golden Boot with 20 goals plus Footballer of the Year, ending as the second highest scorer in league history.
