Eighteen minutes were left at Celtic Park on 9 May 1998 when McNamara's low cross reached him and he made it 2-0 against St Johnstone, the goal that ended Rangers' bid for ten titles in a row and Celtic's ten-year wait. Eight Norwegian championships with Rosenborg came either side of that Scottish title, along with Champions League goals against Real Madrid and Milan and a Norwegian top-flight scoring record of 166 that stood until 2011.
