Biggest achievements: Three European Cups with Ajax (1971, 1972, 1973), the Intercontinental Cup 1972 and two European Super Cups; two European Cup Winners' Cups with Anderlecht (1976, 1978); three Eredivisie titles and the Belgian championship 1981; World Cup finalist in 1974 and 1978, with the long-range goals against Italy and West Germany that carried the Dutch to the 1978 final; 35 caps.
