A 1.90m centre-back who joined TP Mazembe in 2013, Coulibaly started the 2015 Champions League final away in Algiers, a 2-1 win that set up a 4-1 aggregate victory over USM Alger. He won the CAF Champions League in 2015, the Confederation Cup in 2016 and 2017, the CAF Super Cup in 2016 and four Congolese league titles, and took third place with Mali at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
