Lens signed him at eighteen after the 2017 Under-17 World Cup, gave him a Ligue 2 debut against Orléans on 27 July 2018, and four years later sold him to Crystal Palace for the largest fee in the club's history. He won the FA Cup with Crystal Palace in 2025 and the Conference League in 2026, was voted the club's player of the year in his first season, and took the African Under-17 title with Mali in 2017.
