Yeom Ki-hun placed the ball for South Korea in the 2007 Asian Cup semi-final shootout in Kuala Lumpur, and Sabri saved it, sending Iraq into the final they went on to win. Two goals conceded across the whole tournament made him its best goalkeeper, and he had already started all six games of Iraq's fourth-place run at the 2004 Olympics before reaching 100 caps.
