The camera found him during the anthem in Brasília on 19 June 2014, shoulders going, tears down his face before Colombia had even kicked off, and he explained afterwards that it was simply the weight of having got there. He was in the squad that won the 2015 Nations Cup, took four Swiss titles and a cup at Basel, two more cups at Sion, the Arab Champions League with Sétif in 2008, and finished on 61 caps.
