Known for the only Belarusian besides Aleinikov to start a European Championship final. Four national player of the year awards and a Soviet championship put him above every BATE-era player on the list. Biggest achievements: European Championship runner-up 1988 with the USSR, playing the semi-final and the final; Soviet Top League title 1982 with Dinamo Minsk; Belarusian Footballer of the Year 1983, 1985, 1987 and 1989.
