Twenty-three seconds into Albania's Euro 2024 opener against Italy on 15 June, Bajrami scored the fastest goal in European Championship history, and Albania still lost 2-1. Serie B champion with Empoli in 2020-21, a Serie A regular there and at Sassuolo, then a move to Rangers in 2024; for Albania, 45 caps and seven goals since he switched from Switzerland's youth sides in 2021.
