With the 2015 Copa América final still goalless after Higuaín and Banega had missed in the shootout, he walked up in Santiago and chipped his penalty straight down the middle to give Chile their first major trophy. A second Copa América came in 2016 with the tournament's Golden Ball, and he leads Chile on 51 goals in a record 168 caps, having won La Liga with Barcelona, two FA Cups with Arsenal and two Serie A titles with Inter. Yugoslavia led inside four minutes of the 1930 semi-final, so he equalised and kept going, finishing with three goals in a 6-1 win on 27 July. Three days later he levelled the first World Cup final at 2-2 and Uruguay beat Argentina 4-2, a title he added to Olympic gold in 1924 and 1928 and two Copa América wins, having scored five times across that first tournament.
