The Soviet Union beat Cameroon 4-0 in Bari on 18 June 1990, and the second goal was his, a rare excursion forward from a holding midfielder whose work was breaking play up. Dinamo Minsk's only Soviet league title, in 1982, is his, won by a single point over Dynamo Kyiv, and he added the 1993 Belarusian championship, thirty-six Soviet caps and nine for Belarus.
