Huddersfield's first season back in the top flight brought Manchester United to the John Smith's Stadium on 21 October 2017, and Mooy opened the scoring in a 2-1 win. He won the Scottish treble with Celtic in 2022-23, came up with Huddersfield through the 2017 playoff final at Wembley, set the A-League record for assists in a season at Melbourne City, and was named Australia's Footballer of the Year in 2016.
